Why We Exist
Every day, ambulances carry people whose lives may depend on reaching medical care without unnecessary delay. Yet many emergency vehicles continue to lose valuable time because road users are uncertain how to respond, react too late, or fail to recognise the urgency of the situation. Give Way To Ambulance exists to change that. Not through fear. Not through penalties. But through awareness, empathy and collective responsibility. Because when more people choose to create space, more people have the opportunity to receive care in time.

An Initiative by Mission Safer Roads
Give Way To Ambulance is an initiative of Mission Safer Roads, a road safety movement committed to creating safer roads through education, awareness, community participation and responsible road behaviour. Together with volunteers, hospitals, emergency responders, educational institutions, government agencies and corporate partners, we are working towards a future where every ambulance receives the space it needs to reach someone in time.
